K&W has developed the Zero Energy House concept.  Factory made wood structure wall-modules, completely assembled with insulation and windows, are delivered to the construction site and put together like a Lego. A house can be assembled and water tight in just 2 days work. Our houses have superior insulation, triple glass windows, and high quality external doors. Together with a modern type D-ventilation system (mechanical in and out air control and heat recuperation), that makes a home with comfortable internal climate and very low energy requirements . The heat source is an air/water heat-pump which spreads the heat via core activated floor heating. The electricity required to power the heat pump is compensated by an slightly higher production of electricity from the installed solar panels. That is what makes our house a Zero Energy House.
